At the time this article is published (November 2012), over 50 countries require labeling of GMO foods, and many of them are starting to follow the French and plan on ruling the GMO case in court.
In 2010, Haiti refused the 475 tons of seeds offered by Monsanto (the corporation that developed GMOs), right after they went through the most damaging natural disaster the country had ever seen.
Are all these people freaking out about GMOs for no reason, or are they acting on better information than what we get in North America? I found the latter to be true.
In February 2012, Procinctu published a post concerning a 90-day study of GMO rats. In it, samples of rats were fed Genetically Modified Organisms. The result showed that they had an issue with kidney and liver function, and some effects on heart, adrenal, spleen and blood cells.
Fast forward to now, and we have some more unsettling facts on the subject and another study on GMO rats.
Their initial promise: increasing crops yield and reducing the need for pesticides. By introducing a foreign gene that wards off certain diseases or bugs in corn, soy, sugar beets or alfalfa, Monsanto tried to create the next generation of “super-foods”.
In 2012, unfortunately, countless analyses show that this great idea failed.
Farmers all around the world are experiencing reductions in crop yield, and more problems with diseases and super-bugs than ever before. Nothing that lives up to the initial hype.
This failure extends to other areas, which I’m fond of…..nutrition.
Turns out, this genetic modification leads to gut flora destruction, and suppresses your immune system long term. GMO rats aren’t the only victim, YOU are too.
Something to keep in mind when recent studies show that the American population consumes 10% of their calories in the form of soybean oil.
GMO Rats star in another blockbuster study
A scarier long-term study was published in September 2012. (2)
This time, the GMO rats were monitored for two years. The results of the feeding were even more scary than before:
- Some rats developed massive tumors that represent 25 percent of their body weight.
- Liver damage was up to 5 times higher in the GMO group than in the non-GMO group.
- Female rats that ate GMO’s had a 3 times higher risk of premature death.
I honestly don’t know if all the activism around GMO’s are based on real studies, or if everyone should just tone it down. Either way, GMO rats don’t get a voice in the matter.
One thing I do know is: people should have the right to choose what kind of diet they want to follow.
If yours involves trying to reduce the amount of toxins you eat on a daily basis and you think GMOs are one of them, here’s what I suggest you do:
When buying any soy, corn, canola or white sugar (which comes from sugar beets), choose organic.
That’s what I do.
Is it worth it? I don’t even know.
What I’m buying is insurance that I’m making the right choice and optimizing my health and performance.
Same idea as when I choose to talk less on my cell phone, or spend more money on natural supplements that cost 3 times more than the average.
But the thing is: unlike a lot of people in North America that aren’t even aware that GMO’s exist… I’m making a choice.
Keep it simple, healthy, and don’t be one of the GMO rats,

Here’s my definition of a healthy breakfast:
- Chocolate frosting on white bread: chocolate frosting has been shown to be part of a healthy breakfast for years. I know this is unconventional wisdom, but it actually contains a lot of good nutrients. Plus, it’s super tasty.
- To really quench my morning thirst for a healthy breakfast, I put AT LEAST 1 big tablespoon of sugar in a cup of water and drink that. I know sugar is supposedly bad, but when you drink sugar in liquid form, your body knows it’s good for you. Of course, I add some sugar to my coffee too!
- Sometimes, I’ll stop by my favorite breakfast restaurant before I go to work and grab a huge piece of cake instead. Cake has been proven to curb appetite and tastes awesome in your mouth… so that’s a no-brainer for a healthy breakfast.
That’s what I eat every morning for my healthy breakfast, and you should do the same. Thanks.
If you’re still here, you know something is definitely wrong.
Is Nick trying to prove a point, or has he gone crazier than Jack Nicholson in… any of his movies?
Here’s the point: some people actually eat a ‘healthy breakfast’ like this every day and still THINK they are making “healthy” choices…
Let’s play a little game. I’ll change some words around and see what happens.
1. Let’s change “frosting” to “Nutella”: Nutella (famous chocolate spread brand), as the famous advertising goes, is supposed to be part of a “healthy breakfast”. I mean, with 56 roasted hazelnuts in it… it MUST be healthy! The nutrition facts say otherwise:
2 tbsp. Betty Crocker frosting: 130 calories, 18g sugar, cheap refined soybean or cottonseed oil
2 tbsp. Nutella: 200 calories, 22g sugar, cheap refined palm oil
Turns out chocolate frosting might actually be a smarter choice. It’s no wonder Nutella just paid $3 million after being sued for false advertising to children…
2. Let’s change “Water and Sugar” to “A cup of 100% orange juice”. Don’t be fooled: fruit juice, even the 100% pure “not-from-concentrated” kind basically contains water and sugar.
1 cup orange juice: water, 22g sugar, some vitamin C (for what it’s worth). Instant fat storage guarantee.
1 cup water with a big tbsp. of sugar: water, 15g sugar. Instant fat storage guarantee.
Orange juice contains 3 times more sugar than the actual fruit. Plus, the fact that it lacks the fiber, enzymes, and other nutrients of the whole fruits, makes it WAY more fattening.
3. Let’s change “a piece of cake” to “a small blueberry muffin”: your morning muffin has to be better than cake!
1 small blueberry muffin (my favorite kind): white flour, sugar, and refined vegetable oil. 340 calories and 25g sugar.
1 piece of generic cake (without frosting): white flour, sugar, and refined vegetable oil. 260 calories and 26g sugar.
Pretty similar to me.
Some people eat Nutella, orange juice, and muffins every single morning and still think they are making a choice towards a healthy breakfast. Can you see how this habit will screw up their health and any fat loss efforts?
If you could remember one thing from this lesson, here it is:
Don’t believe everything you hear, especially when it comes to food. Don’t trust the ads, don’t trust the restaurants. Heck, don’t even trust me too much (I might turn insane some day).
Don’t freak out just yet: instead, check the facts. Read the ingredients. Compare nutrition labels. And decide if eating chocolate frosting, pure sugar in water and cake in the morning every day makes sense if you want to feel great and look great.
Keep it simple and healthy,

It used to be Morning in America, now there IS mourning in America. We are now a week since the 2012 US Presidential Election. So there’s been plenty of time to contemplate and admit that America is dead. The realization of this fact was made known when the country rejected for the presidency, a big government, liberal republican from Massachusetts, who advocated state involvement in healthcare. Wait, that didn’t come out right.
The realization of this fact was made known when the country voted in favor of corruption, graft, and socialistic policies of a bolshevik, snake oil salesman from Chicago. That’s a little better, but the point is that we are one step closer to a collectivist world government.
There is mourning in America. Half of the population voted on unbecoming marginal issues, willing to sacrifice the republic for their favor. Even jeopardizing their not-to-distant future which will have them struggling to put food on the table. True, it wouldn’t have been THAT much better with Mitt the statist, liberal republican. But we at least may have had enough time to get our shit together. Not to mention, the impending police state may have been less obvious.
But now, it is too late. America, as you knew it, is dead. Sure, an argument can be made that 90% of the ‘land’ has people who are about 65% against the communism, but that number is canceled out easily by only a handful of jurisdictions. Miami decides Florida; Philadelphia decides Pennsylvania; Las Vegas decides Nevada; Denver, Colorado; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Chicago, Illinois; Cleveland, Ohio; and the DC suburbs, Virginia. Are we really going to let a handful of corrupt cities determine our fate? Yep!
America is a right of center country that will never again have right of center rule. Well, at least not until the gravy train comes to a screeching halt and the system collapses. The big inner city populations are liberal bastions where the majority is either totally NOT self-reliant, or they are so blinded by the uterus that they can’t see ANYTHING else.
And in these liberal bastions, fraud is not uncommon. I know, they claim that it’s voter suppression to require ID to vote. But instead, isn’t it voter suppression to water down LEGAL REGISTERED voters. Doesn’t allowing dead people to vote, ‘illegal aliens’ to vote, and some people to vote numerous times, water down and suppress LEGAL REGISTERED voters? We know of the accounts of precincts reporting OVER 100% turnout. We know of the Philadelphia precincts reporting turnout 30% above the Philly average, with those same precincts voting over 99% for Obama (absent GOP inspectors). We know some counties have MORE registered voters, than voting-age population. We also know the complicit republicans, aside from Allen West, are too much of cowards to do or say anything about it. So on with the post.
WAR ON WOMEN
We are still trying to reason how defending the ‘right to life’ of a child in the womb is supposed to be a ‘War on Women.’ Aren’t nearly half of the aborted babies women? So we are declaring a war on women by advocating that they be permitted to live? That supposedly makes sense to a modern day liberal.
But the likelihood of a ‘Life at Conception Act’ actually being passed and signed was next to zero, especially with the ‘fiscal cliff” looming. So why make such an illegitimate topic an issue? Because they know that the sexual liberation crowd are actually slaves to their false sense of ‘freedom.’ We have expressed prior about the power of sex and sex transmutation, and this election shows the sexual liberators’ ‘fruits of labor’ (pun intended) are wretched.
To be clear, government has NO place in the sexual lives of its people, provided the acts are consensual and not with a minor. But to also be clear, we have the right to call out people if they have become a slave to their proclivity. That said, the ‘War on Women’ was not a legitimate reason to turn the country over to quasi-communists.
WAR ON POVERTY
Again, it is difficult to reason how giving a measly stipend to a group of people somehow empowers them. A stipend that actually encourages them NOT to better themselves in fear of losing the stipend. Conditioning people to depend on the government cheese for survival is also another form of slavery. These are the ones who are incorrectly labeled as ‘disenfranchised.’
We aren’t saying the world is purged of discrimination, but in America, the disenfranchised ploy has run it’s course. Those who take part in the handout act are relegated to a perpetual cycle of pettiness and unhappiness. Constantly looking for the next program and next way to game the system, we have no pity for them. They know who they are. And those in power think so little of these people, that they believe they can buy them off for such meager amounts. Those in power are often proved correct.
Conversely, we believe that all men are created equal. In fact, it is contemptible that one would willingly consider themselves as ‘less able’ than another. It is a betrayal of their life and purpose on Earth. They really feel they were put here to be a parasite and live off of others productivity? We don’t deny that some people really need TEMPORARY help, but we are also not naive. When the system collapses, and the checks stop coming, or the checks are inflated and worthless, are we expected to be compassionate?
Freedom has no price.
Nothing Else Matters
So you can plainly see, the powers that be, played on the voluntary slavery wishes of their target groups. Making an issue of abortion/contraception, and guaranteeing more welfare/food stamps, are rouses that are an easy forfeiture to ensure their continued power. Their power to implement ANYTHING else of will. And the groups supporting such ‘tools’ are so fanatic about them, that (sorry Metallica) nothing else matters.

We used this video on several other posts, but it’s just so damn good, it must be included again. Obama supporters actually reject Obama’s policies as ‘unconstitutional’ and ‘messed up,’ so long as the policies were presented as Romney’s. But when Luke confesses that they are Obama’s, these mental midgets make excuses and defend. There you have it.
They got their Utopian dream facade which stands for slavery with reproductive authority and handouts for all.
They rest of us are confronted with the reality that America is finished.
What can we do? The house and governorships will probably continue to show a schism, since the select big cities can’t preside over ALL of them. But as we see, those (2) handfuls of cities determine the presidency and senate. The only way to get it back is to neutralize the fraud and corruption. Sorry to say, but it won’t happen until after the system resets. By that time, America will likely not be in it’s current form.
Yes, republicans gave us a shitty candidate. Yes, a notable portion of the electorate voted on selfish trivial issues. Yes, the numbers do not add up. Yes, you lost your country.
But to be truthful, there is a sense of relief about the whole thing. Being able to prepare for what is next, with no glimmer of false hope, is quite empowering. Instead of the uncertainty planning for the prospect of no Obama, we now know our fate. Uncertainty was a bitch, but this is manageable.
If you’re sitting there scared shitless of whats to come next, don’t be. We will be threatened with a police state. We will be monitored, at the least. But you can prepare and even prosper if you are smart and not too outspoken. Even marketing guru Dan Kennedy admitted that he likes high gas prices. Meaning, of course, that there are less people are on the road…blocking your way.
The sexual liberation crowd is too distracted by sex, and the parasites are to distracted by their government buyout aka handouts. While they’re attention is diverted, we can properly get our respective houses in order and get ready for the next storm. It IS coming. Buy yourself some silver even.
It will be ugly and painful, but at least we’ll finally get to see the Obama Civilian Security Force. You know, the one that will be ‘just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded’ as the military. Yeah, if this administration can purge numerous combat generals in only a few days, just think what they can do to you. Stalin is salivating.
The United States of America is dead. In the landmass which once contained her, faltering for quite sometime, America has been delivered the final nail in the coffin.
MOURNING to MORNING IN AMERICA
OK, now the REAL finish. This website was not made to advocate reservedness. So to be ‘smart and not too outspoken’ isn’t for everyone. Smart? Yes. But ‘not too outspoken?’ No. Honestly, that would also lead to a form of slavery.
This may be slightly before its time, but NO, America is not merely a land mass. America is an ideal, a set of principles, a spirit. To borrow a few terms from Churchill, it embodies an ideal that guarantees UNEQUAL BLESSINGS and rejects EQUAL MISERIES. Allows for the freedom to succeed and fail. True, the human government of America may be dead, but it lives within you. Will you take it to start anew in another land as your ancestors? Will you hunker down and fight for it here?
We are about to enter the dark days which will be full of light. Look to the first century Christians as an example. They took the burden of the cross and were freed by it. Knowing such a declaration would mean certain death, even during imprisonment, they were most free. This time of ours will see much trial and tribulation. Staying means that the forces of enslavement and evil will want to cut you down. In many places you will lose associations, lose employment, lose family, lose your life. But we will have to put ourselves not on the level of just mere men, but immortals. It will be hard. It will be painful. You may be imprisoned. You may be killed.
Whether you are a person of faith or not, every man has something inside of him yearning for liberty. We only imprison ourselves in our own minds to prevent its fruition. We are our own enemy.
But to the Christians, will you let your inner flame grow to a burning inferno? Are you willing to die for the Son who gave it all for you? Will you speak up or be mum in the face of the ‘legal’ genocide called abortion? Will will speak up or be mum when a bureaucrat decides who lives and dies? Will you speak up or be mum when an agency steals from a producer and gives to a parasite? Will you be compliant when they make you pay for a practice which is in violation of your faith? Will you continue to sit by and even be take part in an UNJUST WEIGHTS AND MEASURES system, by which the LORD is abhorred?
There you are, in your coffee shop, or office, or living room, reading these things called words. Is it just by chance that you were put here, in this place, in these times? Is it an accident that we have the opportunity …..no…. the privilege, to be the chosen ones? Feels great doesn’t it? Being emboldened by their false sense of victory. Knowing exactly what we are up against. Ready to change the world in our own way.
NO America is not dead at all. America was alive before we even called it ‘America.’ It is man’s pulsating desire for absolute liberty. It will never die, they can only hope to confuse enough people to temporarily contain it. They have succeeded…..NOW it’s our turn.
Whatever you decide, at home or abroad, Procinctu will continue to arm you with the knowledge and tools necessary to break through the conventional and truly empower yourself. It is a new morning in America.

Judas betrayed Jesus for just how much?
By exploring this topic, we can see that silver is currently undervalued. (yearly fluctuation listed at bottom of page)
The LORD abhors crooked money. ‘Just Weights and Measures’ are spoken of throughout Sacred Scripture. To NOT pay with an honest money, would be the same as theft. And the LORD went so far as to issue a Commandment against theft. The current paper money and credit scheme is about as unjust as you can get. Likewise, using coinage perceived to contain a set amount of precious metal, but being mixed with base metal instead, is also unjust. Therefore, silver and gold, with an agreed upon composition is the truest form of ‘just weights and measures.’
Matthew 26:14-16 – Then one of the Twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, “What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?” They paid him thirty pieces of silver, and from that time on he looked for an opportunity to hand him over.
‘Jesus betrayed’ is not the first instance we see 30 pieces of silver used in biblical history. Zechariah and Jeremiah are both associated with “30 pieces of silver.”
Zechariah 11:12-13 – I said to them, “If it seems good to you, give me my wages; but if not, let it go.” And they counted out my wages, thirty pieces of silver. But the LORD said to me, “Throw it in the treasury, the handsome price at which they valued me.” So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the treasury in the house of the LORD.
30 pieces of silver was paid for the service of the good shepherd. But it was also the dismissal wage and even the payout to a rejected shepherd.
Matthew 27:9-10 – Then was fulfilled what had been said through Jeremiah the prophet, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of a man with a price on his head, a price set by some of the Israelites, and they paid it out for the potter’s field just as the Lord had commanded me.”
Though the Matthew account of Jeremiah isn’t actually found in the Old Testament, in Jeremiah 32:9, he did buy a field for seventeen shekels. This is of note because the thirty ‘Jesus betrayed’ silver pieces were eventually used to buy land as well, the potter’s field.
We also see thirty shekels of silver as pertaining to slaves. In Exodus 21:32, thirty shekels of silver is the amount paid to one whose slave has been gored by an ox.
Though not thirty, Joseph was sold for twenty pieces of silver in Genesis 37:28. And Hosea bought back his adulteress/harlot wife, Gomer, for fifteen pieces of silver.
So we see numerous examples of life being sold for silver, but how can we put that in today’s terms?
It is not certain that ‘pieces’ ARE ‘shekels.’ But we will have to assume that they are to put a value on the amount to figure out for which Jesus was betrayed.
A shekel was equal to about .4-.5 of a weighted ounce. Multiplying .4-.5 by 30, we come up with roughly 12-15 ounces to have Jesus betrayed. The current spot price for silver is $32.20. Multiplying $32.20 by 12-15, we end up with $386.40 – $483. <–This is how much Jesus’ betrayal cost using the manipulated silver spot price in US dollars as of Nov 13, 2012.
shekel ounce equivalent x amount of shekels = total ounces to have Jesus betrayed
.4 ounce x 30 pieces/shekels =12 ounces
.5 ounce x 30 pieces/shekels =15 ounces
ounces for betrayal x price per ounce = today’s dollar equivalent to have Jesus betrayed
12 ounces x 32.20 current price per ounce= 386.40
15 ounces x 32.20 current price per ounce = 483.00
So in today’s UNjust weights and measures, we are to believe Jesus was betrayed for only somewhere around $400? To further illustrate the extent to which silver is currently undervalued, let’s look at Jeremiah’s field. At seventeen shekels, using the same formula, he would have paid between 218.96 and 273.70 for his field.
If the current situation in silver was legitimate, we would be able to buy real estate today for somewhere between $200-$500. But that definitively is not so, even in Detroit. So taking a trip to Jerusalem, which will be more accurate for the potter’s field analogy, how much would a 200 sq meter (c.100ft x 20ft) city plot of land cost?…$750,000? Doing a reverse of our formula, $750,000 / 15 ounces = $50,000 an ounce of silver
Is $50,000 per ounce of silver a stretch?
Silver Price Based on Wages
Let’s take one more look at the current status of silver. Wikipedia states that thirty pieces of silver was about equal to four months’ wages for a skilled laborer at the time. Using a carpenter’s yearly wage from salary.com, we start with $45,000.
salary / 3 (4 months is one third of a year) = salary for 4 months
$45,000 / 3 = $15,000
salary for 4 months / ounces for betrayal = today’s dollar equivalent price per ounce of silver
$15,000 / 15 ounces = $1,000 an ounce of silver
So for just how much was Jesus betrayed? The exact amount can’t be known due to the fluctuation of economies, populations, and money supplies. But we can look at these calculations do see just how badly silver is manipulated and how undervalued it really is.
Which seems more realistic to you?
Judas betrayed Jesus betrayed for $400? $15,000? $750,000?
Does a plot of land in the city cost $400? $15,000? $750,000?
Is an ounce of silver worth $32.20? $1,000? $50,000?
As we stand today, the economic fundamentals aren’t changing. Abominable, unjust weights and measures rule the day, and fractional reserve banking continues. The Federal Reserve keeps enacting policies to devalue the currency and further steal from us. For as long as these things continue, $1,000 – $50,000 for an ounce of silver will not only be a possibility, it will be a reality.
Using Palm Sunday (when this page gets it’s most visits), here is for how much Judas betrayed Jesus….

History DOES often repeat itself. Presently, we can see some correlation between the financial environment today and that of the period before the Great Depression. Not to get into too many specifics, we will explore a correlation and understand why Silver is the Great Exception.
This post was spurned by a recent conversation in which the point was made that when everybody and their brother begins talking about and acquiring silver, that will be the time to sell. That point was quickly retracted upon a bit more consideration. Though there is some validity to the sentiment, the physical fundamentals in silver make it exempt to the ‘shoeshiner’ law.
World War I had ended and the Great Depression had not yet taken hold. Farming was being supplanted as the ‘go-to’ profession for Americans and city dwelling began to increase. In addition to that, assembly line production ramped up and inexpensive products were mass produced. It was the “Roaring Twenties.” Things were great….
Everybody and their brother started getting into stocks. But naturally, as you had the ‘commoner’ joining the ‘tycoon’ in the stock market, the jig was soon to be up. As you know, no matter the age, the powers that be really won’t allow for EVERYONE get a fortune. Inevitably, the crash would come and the unexpectant commoner would see their entire wealth wiped out.
Like today, in the mid 1920’s, the top on real estate acted as one of the ‘canaries in the mine shaft’ for impending collapse. Though that collapse would still be several years after.
Looking then to now, we can see that while the vehicle of this theft changes, the narrative stays the same.
THE SHOESHINER LAW
Two documented examples of those who saw the writing on the wall are Joseph Kennedy and Bernard Baruch. They saw regular people taking their life savings and putting everything in stocks. Then those same people would actually predict the market with accuracy. These tycoons had massive amounts of wealth in stocks, so the prospect of a commoner calling it right was cause for much concern.
One account involves Baruch and his shoeshiner. It is said that Baruch had his shoes shined daily, but when his shoeshiner started giving him stock tips, that was the trigger to get out. He was quoted,
“Sell it all! When shoe shine boys are giving out stock tips, its time to get out.”
That is right, when taxi drivers, barbers, cooks can give a financial schooling, run for the woods.
This is nothing new. When everyone scurries to join the latest craze, a bubble is the result, and that bubble inevitably pops. The smart guys, the power players, are the ones who know just the right time to get out. And you can bet that CNBC and FOX Business is not privy to the intel. You really think the ‘too big to fail’ gang would let everyone in on the action? No, how else would they rake in their obscene profits? They are always a step ahead.“Taxi drivers told you what to buy. The shoeshine boy could give you a summary of the day’s financial news as he worked with rag and polish. An old beggar who regularly patrolled the street in front of my office now gave me tips and, I suppose, spent the money I and others gave him in the market. My cook had a brokerage account and followed the ticker closely. Her paper profits were quickly blown away in the gale of 1929.” – Bernard Baruch
Baruch also believed in the legitimacy of precious metals, once stating,“Gold has worked down from Alexander’s time… When something holds good for two thousand years I do not believe it can be so because of prejudice or mistaken theory.”
My original thought in the conversation was that when the waitress, barber, and construction worker are getting into silver….that will be the time to sell. The other person in the conversation simply said, ‘”But isn’t that what you want, everybody to know about silver?”
Hmmm. Yeah, the whole reason Procinctu and Silver For Beginners exists is to arm the public with knowledge. In this case, escaping the current corrupt paradigm and getting back to the time tested FACT that silver IS money. The fact that REAL physical silver can’t be substituted with paper, is proof that a bubble isn’t really a probability. Yes, there can be a bubble in SLV or GLD shares, but those are not in the real thing. In that sense, my original thought is INCORRECT!
Sure, bartering an allotment of silver may make sense during a ‘certain time’ for a ‘certain undervalued asset’. But because of the sheer fundamentals of physical silver, there won’t be a bubble. They can fuck around with the paper price all they want, but it’s not like they can just go print silver or anything…
We have seen a remarkable decline in the above ground surplus of physical silver. Though exacts can’t really be known, since World War II, the supply has been steadily reduced. Could we now be looking at only years or months worth of surplus? That is important when looking at the questionable numbers from the Silver Institute. They have shown the demand and supply to be the EXACT same number for the last 10 years!
That is a statistical impossibility. Stepping back and analyzing the situation, demand will only continue to grow. Solar panels, cell phones, computers, and on and on…….consumption will only increase. As people become disenchanted with their fiat currency debasement, investment demand will also rise. From where are these magical silver mines going to sprout? Where will the added supply come from? Anyone who takes a reasonable look at it can see where the physical silver market is heading……straight for a shortage.
One thing for certain, the above ground gold to silver ratio is NOT 53:1. According to the manipulated silver market, it would take 53 ounces of silver to buy one ounce of gold. But the above ground supplies of both just don’t reflect that number. In short, if you are going to use gold/silver ratios, you may want to think about the possible relevance of other ratios:
- 9:1 is the ratio of silver to gold annual mine production
- 6:1 is the estimated ratio of economic gold to silver in the ground (USGS)
- 5:1 is the estimated physical ratio of all silverware, silver/gold jewelry and other stocks above ground (according to CPM Group)
- 1:1 is the year-to-date ratio of investment dollar demand.
- 1:3 (more silver than gold) is the physical ratio of gold and silver coins/bullion
There are still ways to bilk the shoeshiner and the taxi driver through silver. SLV, GLD, and COMEX trading set up a paper market where people ‘buy’ futures contracts. They have a contract, but they don’t actually hold the metal. They only have a ‘promise’ for future delivery. That can work for now, but without warning, the game will be over and you will be left with paper saying you own silver. But there will be NO silver to back it up.
Also, look at the latest press over ‘Wynter Benton.’ They/he/she/it are/is allegedly a former J.P. Morgan commodity trader(s). They claimed that as a group, they would demonstrate their ability to move the price of silver between Oct. 16 to Oct. 23, 2012. They also claimed the spot price of silver would be over $50 by years end. We don’t KNOW if they are legit or not, or if silver does finish the year over $50. Frankly, we shouldn’t care.
The game is so rigged that if you try to play the market by waiting for the right time to buy and the right time to sell, you end up getting burnt. You aren’t going to know when exactly the spot price will rise or fall. The big players still have the COMEX and paper market to mask the REAL physical market. Until an actual physical shortage takes place, they will be able to steer the paper market.
Back to Bernard Baruch. He also said, “Don’t try to buy at the bottom and sell at the top. It can’t be done except by liars.” You can plan to acquire more physical silver on the dips, but you aren’t going to win by waiting for the perfect time to execute transactions. Just acquire the physical ounces.
CONCLUSION“So long as they (the Proles) continued to work and breed, their other activities were without importance. Left to themselves, like cattle turned loose upon the plains of Argentina, they had reverted to a style of life that appeared to be natural to them, a sort of ancestral pattern…Heavy physical work, the care of home and children, petty quarrels with neighbors, films, football, beer and above all, gambling filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult.” -George Orwell, 1984
There IS a bubble of which you should be aware. The US dollar and bond market is the fools game. The US Dollar crash has the makings to be worse than the 1929 stock market crash. Yet, almost EVERYBODY has their wealth tied up in the US dollar. Its fundamentals are beyond bad. It is actually the ultimate bubble and it is unjustly propped up on a massive scale.
Silver, on the other hand, is the Great Exception. Just think how many people you know who are accumulating silver. How about gold? As you can see from Google GLOBAL search stats, gold is 3 times more popular than silver. With all of the uses of silver, only 37 million people search for it? To add a little more perspective, 124 million people search for the term ‘football.’ Is the NFL in a bubble?
We have NO concern of a PHYSICAL silver bubble. Not only is the shoeshiner not recommending silver, they are actually totally ignorant of it. There won’t be any left by the time today’s shoeshiner figures it out.
So yes, full steam ahead. Tell as many shoeshiners, waitresses, cooks, and welders as you can.“Until they became conscious they will never rebel, and until after they have rebelled they cannot become conscious.”
― George Orwell, 1984
Unfortunately, the game will play out the same as before. The elites running the game will be fine. Those of us who are aware will profit to the best of our ability. But the majority of the people will be wiped out of their savings. They are too distracted to even care. With football, Dancing with the Stars, and American Idol, there is no time for a trivial thing like ‘losing everything.’
Do you have your physical silver? Do you want to be with the ones who were aware and able rebuild? Or do you want to be with those who were too busy to care and lost everything?

Disclaimer: As always, think for yourself. Whether you like fiat paper currency or real tangible time tested money, only you can decide what’s right for you. Whether you find it worthwhile to hold bullion, or feel it’s a better deal to hold paper dollars backed by nothing but word, the ball is in your court.
